CONSUMPTIVE SANATORIUM
ANNUAL MEETING 1908
The annual meeting of the Tasmanian Sanatorium for Consumptives was held at the Mayor's room, Town-hall, last night. The Mayor (Alderman D. Freeman) presided, and there was a good attendance, including many ladies.
The hon, secretary (Mrs. Roberts) read the annual report as follows: -

The Executive Committee of the Tasmanian Consumptives' Sanatorium are thankful to be in a position to give their friends and subscribers a satisfactory report of the year's work. The number of persons, and especially young persons, suffering from tuberculosis in its early stages proves the necessity for an institution such as ours, and fully justifies its existence.

By reason of the gift of the Alice Roberts memorial bathroom, and the erection by the committee of tho destructor
and of the disinfecting room., The Sanatorium is well-equipped with hygienic appliances.
