John Roberts

Children
John Llewelyn Roberts b 1788 moved to Australia (1823?) - NSW then Hobart
Robert Arthur Roberts b 1788 arrived Australia (1823) - Hobart - Land grant on Bruny Island

Sons
John Llewelyn Roberts was at Waterloo in 1815
(? twins), John Llewellyn Roberts, later a merchant and brewer (died Hobart, 15 June 1832, aged 44), and Robert Arthur Roberts (died Hobart 2 June 1870, aged 82).

Bit of confusion for Robert Arthur ROBERTS - seems to be 2 people in Hobart same name about the same time.

Robert Arthur Roberts was named as executor in John Llewelyn's will - as his brother

Robert Arthur Roberts - his family arrived in Hobart Town on board the Brixton in January 1823. - ????
Robert Arthur Roberts and John Llewleyn Roberts were both born 1788 - twins? John arrived 8 years after Waterloo 1815 - so 1823?
Where they both on the same ship?

Robert Arthur Roberts was a soap and salt manufacturer on Bruny Island later moving the business back to Hobart. Roberts Point on Bruny Island is named after him - but a letter in Paper on who founded the soap business - his son says he came from Wales -

He died aged 82 in Hobart.

John Llewleyn Roberts appointed his wife Judith and his brother Robert Arthur Roberts as executors of his estate.
